i know from experiance how painful this can be. i spent nights unable to sleep trawling the internet for anything to relieve the pain some of the home remendies tasted horrible(onion and salt for example) but only two things worked holding whisky/brandy in my mouth to numb the pain but to reduce the swelling and reduce the pain i found holding a ice pack on my jaw/face helped more than anything. but see a dentist as soon as you can this is important.
Ouch! You too Majove? I went to the dentist yesterday and got some penicillin, but the whole side of my face today makes me look as though I've been mugged. I could barely see out of my left eye this morning. However when hubby got home tonight he said it looks as though it's gone down just a little, and I'm certainly feeling a little better than I did this morning.
I've been taking a combination of paracetamol and ibuprofen on the pharmacist's/dentist's advice, which I think has reduced the inflammation slightly. I've also got wheat bag in the freezer which I'm going to take to bed and sleep on tonight.
Let me know how you're getting on.
