as you may have noticed in previous posting - altho this is a different question
I have now got Freeview. I also have Sky which I pay £24 a month for and basically only watch Gold on it. I remember sometime last year when I searched I could have a wee basic package for £9 (which included Gold) but cannot find it. I am not prepared to pay £24 a month for one channel also when I make up my mind how do I go about leaving Sky if they no longer have the £9 package. Thanks By the way I am partially deaf so cannot really deal with them on the phone to tell them I may be leaving them - can I do it online.

£29.99 is for the purchase of the Freeview machine which will be a one off price, you then buy a monthly card to slot into the machine which you can buy at different prices depending on the amount of programmes you wish to watch, so you will choose a prog with Gold on it which will cost less than the £24 you are paying now.
