Webcam and Skype

I have used the Skype system with a headphones / microphone set up, no problem.

i have aquired a webcam which has a software disc with it.

if I run the disc and connect up the webcam - will it automatically give me visual and sound when I Skype with it?

It should do Andy, there is a test device you can do for the sound and visual when its loaded.

Kinda depends if it's got a microphone built in or not.

If it has then it yes pretty much, but it may not be totally automatic, you will probably have to go into tools > settings in skype and select the new audio device under audio options.
