Is it a wise move for David Cameron to appear in a Lady Gaga video?
Not a late April Fools joke, but apparently Mr Cameron will be appearing in Lady Gaga's video for her next single, 'Government Hooker'.
A Downing Street spokesman said:
"David Cameron is a massive Lady Gaga fan and he was delighted to be asked to appear in her next video. He is due to meet Barack Obama in Washington later in April and will film the video on the way"
Is this...wise?

Can you have two gay icons on stage at the same time?

There's a dangerous precedent - I recall Neil Kinnock appearing in a Tracy Ullman video many years ago - and it did his credibility (I know, I know) no good at all.
I understand why Mr Cameron is doing it, but politicians have to be extremely careful about ever trying to look as if they're 'down wiv the kids'.
It'll all end in tears.

Cameron is a big Smiths fan.
The Queen is Dead is his favourite album. A flattered Morrissey pen the track Dagenham Dave as a thank you.

on an old edition of "mock the week" shown on dave over the weekend, Frankie Boyle was describing how he thought Nick Clegg should present himself at election functions:-
'on all fours wearing a dog collar & lead, being led by a big guy dressed as the minotaur, saying "who is the man and who is the beast..." '
if only you'd known then, Frankie.
