All answers are the names of drinks but no proprietory brands are used.
1). February rain and April showers yet again (5,6,5). It has been suggested that this is "Elder Flower Water" but I can't see it. Is it maybe from a poem?
2).Keep in touch or chat a while if nutty (8). No idea with this one.
3) German hot sweet spicy wine (7). I have "Gluhwein" but it has 8 letters.
4). Portuguese dependancy in the North Atlantic (8). Similarily, I have Madeira with only 7 letters. It may be that (2) & (4) are bad clues but all help appreciated.

Thank you grasscarp for your recall of No. 2 which leaves just No.1. All the answers to the other clues are so elegant that I'm sure the correct answer will jump out at one. Please keep plugging away with your grey cells and give me your thoughts.
After being out all day, I have returned to check what others have suggested. My answer was only a suggestion, as it fitted the letters given. However, I would like to retract my suggestion and I totally go with slaney: still spring water. It fits the clue, its the right no. of letters, and well done slaney.
