Windows Movie Maker (Vista) is acting wrong...

That may sound like a simpleton's title, but I am no simpleton. And yet, Windows Vista's Movie Maker has baffled me. You see, I have made a video (I'm quite proud of it). It's about 6 mins long, looks perfect, but then I PUBLISH. After waiting half an hour, I open it in Windows Media Player. About halfway into it, the video stops. My subtitles, titles and music are still playing, but the actual pictures are gone.
Why?
I played the vid on Windows movie Maker and it seemed fine, it was as though publishing it made it lose half the video...
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Also, I've made videos before, they seemed alright...

Did you import the photos first,because if you don't they will disappear.

I imported the videos, added them to the storyboard, added transitions and effects, then some subtitles, then I imported a couple more videos...
So, yes. I think. Why?

Because this happened to me, i scanned dozens of photos of my daughter made the story board with music etc but when i went into again they were't there.They were'nt in my Gallery either so i assume i had'nt imported them.The one of my son is fine and the photos were still all in the Gallery.Hope this is of any help

Well you see, in Movie Maker, with me, everything is there. But half of it disappears when I Publish it...
I'll try what you said, but I'm still open to other suggestions...

What is the gallery?

Forget the Gallery.Go into Movie maker click on import media,this will take you to your videos pictures etc.Select the video/s that you want to use.This takes you back to Movie maker,click on the the video icon that you have just chosen then click on import media again,a box appears at the bottom right of the screen ,click on import.This adds the video permanently,then add it the story board with transitions, music etc.Then publish when your done.Good luck!

I tried it all, from scratch. I re-recorded, re-imported the media and then added some subtitels and BGM aswell.
It still stopped about halfway through.
How annoying...
Why? Is there anything else I'm doing wrong?
I have a feeling it is to do with Publishing.

Actually, I've decied to start from scratch.
I made another vid, it worked...

i have made one and it all works, but when i record to a dvd using video2dvd it plays the photos but no music!! help!
