What do you do first?

When you come back to Answerbank after time away (hours or days), what do you do first?

Do you look at posts relating to you in your profile?
Do you scan ChatterBank before going anywhere else?
Do you have favourite topics you look through or maybe you look at most recent posts?

I'm never quite sure where to start and wonder what other people do first?

I usually go to my fave topics first, then to chatterbank, then check up on my own answers and posts.

I always go straight to 'Threads Involving Me', so that I can look for any feedback on anything I've previously posted.

Then I usually work through in the following order:
Travel
Technology
Law
How It Works
Home & Garden
Business & Finance

After that, in a fairly random order, I'll probably look at Shopping, Motoring, Food & Drink, Arts & Literature and anything else which takes my fancy, except Gaming, News, Body & Soul and Chatterbank.

However, when I've finally been through all of that lot (and I'm getting bored) I'll probably pop into Chatterbank.

I go straight to Latest Posts, to see what's hot
Then if I've subscribed to any threads, I check them out
then I look at the unanswered ones on the home page

I rarely go and look in any topic before I've done the above.

So far I have started with threads involving me too.

Then I get distracted by the latest posts as they come in on the right of the screen! That's how I end up in Chatterbank and never get out!

Then I look in other topics such as Arts, Gardening, Jobs, News, Travel, and others. I'll pop back to Chatterbank and back to my threads and start all over again.

I don't subscribe to anything - couldn't possibly keep up with that.

It depends on what questions I've answered. Sometimes I'll check on answers given (Just to know if I've given a right answer) and sometimes I'll just go through Chatterbank and then through my faveourite categories.

If I've been stuck on something (usually Computers) I'll look to see if anyone has answered. Then I'll look at latest posts. I like to try and answer any crossword questions, but somebody has usually beaten me to it.

Food & Drink, followed by a gentle meander through other subjects of interest before finishing up in Chatterbank.

Animals and Nature then Pets to see if I can offer any advice, then TV and if I've got nowt better to do Chatterbank - which is where I came in! Sometimes its days later when I realised I asked a question and forgotten to go and see the answers.

I first used AB for Quizzes & Puzzles, and still do that. I marvel at the breadth of knowledge of, say, The Lie-In King. Then I discovered Chatterbank, and the time can just fly on here. I dip in and out of other sections, according to what I might want to ask, but largely it's Chatter, and Quizzes & Puzzles.
I almost hesitate to say this, but other boards I go on are The Archers, and Practical Poultry Forum! I just know what image the above conjures up, and I bet I'm nothing like it!
