Lumps on his neck

My 18mth old son has a lump beneath his skin on either side of his neck. They move around and are like gristle. They have not grown. Although not unduly worried, I will take him to the doctors just to get them checked out. But was wondering whether anyone else has experienced these before?

just sounds like his glands to me.

that's what i was thinking.  If he's slightly under the weather they may become more prominent.  Get them checked by all means if you're worried.

if it's not his glands, then I have a lump on my neck that is gristle - about half the size of a smartie.

docs not worried and say it's one of those things - and I've had it as long as I can remember - probably longer...

it could be something like that
