We have been growing rhubarb for many years and now have Timperley Early and Champagne. For the first time this weekend I split the two varieties for cooking and found that Champagne has a very poor flavour compared to Timperley Early. Do any others agree with this - would also be interested to hear of favourite varieties . 2Margaret

I have a Timperley and another supposedly later variety ( I can't remember the name) After a couple of years they both started coming up together so they get eaten together. I never thought to keep them sperate and do a taste trial. I will do that next time I pull some, thanks for the idea.
