Passport photos
I have read the guidelines and seen the example photos, but I'm still unclear. It says 'Not acceptable : Hair covering the face is not permitted.' It shows a picture of someone with hair falling sideways across her face. But what about a fringe? I have a fringe and don't know if I'm meant to (somehow) remove my fringe from my face.

I think the main idea is that your hair shouldn't cover your eyes (and perhaps eyebrows as well, just to be on the safe side) but I don't think there's any problem with some of your forehead being covered; more than half of mine is. Also, I took and printed the photo myself, despite the recommendation that you shouldn't do so.
