Who likes Earl Gray tea ?

I have been given Earl Gray tea many times, especially abroad , and in every case it's been digusting a bit like drinking scented mushroom soup. Am I alone in hating Earl Gray .

I love it - no milk, though.

A friend of mine drinks nothing but. One day he had the plumber in to do quite a lengthy job. Of course he provided the usual tea for plumbers (milk and four sugars) but it was Earl Grey as he had nothing else. Towards the end of the day the plumber (who was on his tenth cup or thereabouts) said "Don't mind me saying this, guv, but you ought to give your cups a good rinse before you put them away!"

Any 'tea' not made from the leaves of the camellia sinensis should not be called a tea. It's a 'tisane'
