If you switched if off and on again would it go into original set up mode? If not, methinks you might have to go to the menu and look for set up....each tv is different so other than that, perhaps google your make and look for retuning it to see if there are instructions available. Hope that is of use.

dish position needs changing

You shouldn't need to be retuning anything that's connected to a dish.
