First Egg has been laid today 2nd April, if it had been laid yesterday there would have been a little doubt !!!
These two links should provide up to date info as the Season progresses....

An Osprey was spotted from RSPB Conwy last week flying up the Conwy Valley which is interesting. The distance from Conwy to Porthmadog where there is a pair of Nesting Ospreys is approx 30 miles, so maybe this single Osprey was looking for a mate to breed this Year.Conwy Valley would be an ideal place for a pair of Ospreys as the River Conwy has plenty of Salmon and Trout to feed on !
Keeping my fingers crossed that yet another pair of Ospreys may breed in North Wales.
That is good news . In the Lakes site at Bassenthwaite the pair are together and egg laying should not be long. Two male birds were reared last year.
