The distance from Conwy to Porthmadog where there is a pair of Nesting Ospreys is approx 30 miles, so maybe this single Osprey was looking for a mate to breed this Year.Conwy Valley would be an ideal place for a pair of Ospreys as the River Conwy has plenty of Salmon and Trout to feed on !
Keeping my fingers crossed that yet another pair of Ospreys may breed in North Wales.
