just had to close the library for an hour or so. we told everyone it was for lunch but really its because we have an issue with our drains and the place stinks. it was quite bad though, as our head librarian was trying to email facilities management on one of the pc's and some pompous snooty woman kept giving him dirty looks and turning her nose up. poor old fella had been trying to mend the pipes since 7am this morning.

My library stinks to high heavens every day and our drains are fine. This 'social inclusion' lark has a lot to answer for....
