DIGITAL TV UPDATE

I posted a question a awhile back regarding digital channels or lack of, i could only get BBC channels.So many people/forums recomended a new aerial etc. although the official line is if you get good analogue stations you should get digital.The official line was the correct one, we were switched off 12/13th of this month i have retuned the TV a few times over the last couple of days and lo and behold all the missing channels are now there !!
Basically DONT go down the new aerial route until your switchover is 100% complete...

That is because before the switchover the Digital signal is not at full strengh so some channels could be missing or breaking up, it's only on switchover day and after that they boost it to 100%.

i was sure that was going to be the case hence why i ignored the conflicting advice but the point is how many people get new aerials fitted for no reason..
