Great fun to play! The organ solo is not nearly so difficult as it appears for a classically trained pianist. The vast majority of Ton'y solos were little more than collections of rudimentary scales and arpeggios...
Apparently this was Frank Sinatra's favourite record and he did a cover of it. Glad I've never heard it! Can't stand the man.

Blimey! I absolutely ADORE Frank Sinatra! Generally speaking, cover versions are usually awful, and cover versions of Beatles tracks especially so, but Frankie' cover of this George Harrison song is superb!
I think Matt Monro was far superior, and so did Frank Sinatra. He went to as many of Monro's concerts as he could.
That's true, and both of them considered Tony Bennett as the governor...
Weird! Don't mind Tony Bennett, but he definitely wouldn't be my first choice with jazz.
Another Rat Pack great.

I don't associate any of the three of them as jazz...
They all did when they first started out. A young Sinatra was asked to sing at a party after Al Jolson had done a stint, (which usually took hours). He walked away saying "I can't follow that!"
One for my Dad, as usual, when all have gone beddie-byes.
