I was made redundant last month and I thought my last payslip, p60 and p45 would have been posted and i would have received them last week, is it normal to have to wait this long for a p45 and p60.

Thanks

The tax year only ended on 5th April, you have to wait until after then to get your P60, and P45s can take several weeks, it depends when your payroll gets done and how big your company is.
We've not had our P60s yet, OH got his last week but he works for a smaller company.

Yes i know the tax year ended only last week but i thought (but im wrong) the p45 etc came from employer or do they come direct from the tax office,

i couldnt remember how long i waited last year for my p60,

thanks
P45 does come from your employer, yes, they should be able to produce your P45 at the same time as they run your final payslip (but some do take a lot longer).
The employee gets both forms directly from the employer, eventually.
As you were made redundant before the end of the tax year you would only receive a P45. P60's are only given to employees still on the payroll at the end of the tax year.
