Suggestions Needed Please - Fancy Dress Party

We have been invitied to a fancy dress party and have to go as animals. We both loathe wearing fancy dress. Mr O has come up with the idea of going in his normal clothes, but carrying a calulator or an abacus and going as an "adder"
Can anyone think up something equally as simple for me?

I don't know why I am being so helpful here, as I have endured the embarrassment of going to several fd parties as: a lettuce, Jim'll fix it, Dirty Habits, Witch (yeah - makeup was required, tyvm) Twixt Heaven and Hell ...

I was once invited to a fancy dress party with difference by the ex-pat community in Dubai, you had to be paired up with another couple and they choose which characters you came as, they choose Laurel & Hardy for us and we asked them to come as Tweedle Dum & Tweedle Dee - they took offence and dropped out, so did so many others when they didnt want to be ther chosen characters that in the end the called party off.
