Help, thinking up picture/word clues
3 Answers
Hello, fine people of Q&P
I'm making up a puzzle for the younger cadets about the phonetic alphabet. I'm going to try and write each word ie alpha, bravo . . . golf . . . or maybe only the first letter as a clue. . . on a piece of card, and have another one with a picture of the thing ie someone playing golf. This way they're doing something rather than being talked at and have visual ways of remembering it. They'll be between 12 and 14/15 probably.
I could think of pictures for most of them but not; alpha, delta, echo, foxtrot/ tango (not without them being mixed up anyway), kilo, quebec, sierra, zulu . . . unless I do word clues for them . . .
Any suggestions?
