Paul McKenna does it again! Sunday wouldn't be the same without Mephisto, but why does McKenna have to be so obscure?

Thanks, Kayakamina. I thought of that, but couldn't find any reference to the phrase in Chambers, until I thought to lookk under "wolf". I still don't see how the answer follows from the clue, though!
I think I get it. Is Sea wolf another name for bass (fish)?
... second letter repeated.
both F + low mean bass reversed/doubling up on s(econd) but can't explain 'eea'
oh that's it mike well done. Your answers weren't there when I started typing my lame effort :o)
Sea Wolf = Bass
Repeat 2nd
SEE A WOLF = Get tongue tied (in Chambers under WOLF)

P.S. Had a win on Mephisto 2639. Yipee!
