What was the original tv programme (back in the sixties?) now used for BBC 1's "War at the Door"?

I've asked this before and evidently has stumped people cos I got no replies!

I don't know what you mean by this, do you mean there was a similar tv programme on in the sixties that looked at niusance neighbours? Or that the title has been borrowed from an earlier programme?

Many thanks for answering. The original programme with the same tune in question was an action series I seem to recall, possibly american. It had absolutely nothing to do with nuisance neighbours.
