What happens when you mark an answer as "best answer"? Does the person get a Crackerjack pencil or perhaps a "Blankety Blank" cheque book and pen?

"Crackerjack !!!!"
I thought it might be a little sweetie
I think you get a cabbage.
Feck all happens, I marked one of Pa___ul's answers as best answer the other day..
You get invited to a seance with Mollykins.
ed comes round and makes you dinner
I thought when 100 of your replies were marked as best you got a cash reward.
Its a bit of a stupid concept as you may mark one as a best answer and then a much better answer comes along. What do you do then? give another "best answer" accolade? I preferred the days of one star, two stars or three stars (if I remember rightly).
A bit of this:

//I thought when 100 of your replies were marked as best you got a cash reward.//

and a bit of this:

//I think you get a cabbage.//
You get banned by the Ed for favouritism !
I loved the stars.............some of the brown-nosing for stars (in particular nokno) was excellent.
Hi Grasscarp,

If you click a different best answer your best answer switches to the newest one. We've not got it implemented on the site, but we do record them (and when implemented the best answers will "pop" into view somehow)

spare
So, the talk of a small cash reward for 100 best answers was just a cruel joke then?
I don't want a cabbage. They give me terrible wind
I still feel that stars were best AB spare Ed. That way you were kind of reassured that someone had read your answer and no need for the poster to keep saying thank you as extra answers appeared. Lately out of each ten answers I post about 2 get an acknowledgement/thanks.
I think redman should get three stars.
