I like diamonds, even though the only diamond jewellery I have is my engagement ring.
The only other thing I wear is an amber pendant on a silver chain, the amber is 3 different colours (red, orange and green) and is really unusual.
I didn't study gemology as part of geology at Uni ,but I did know big Vern, he worked at the local Ratners, saving me a substantial amount of money on the old engagement and wedding ring. 25 quid is not to be sniffed at, almost half price... what more could i ask??
lottie, i remember your post about the bits of gold you had and what to do with them. glad you sorted it out - what's the ring like that you've bought with the proceeds?
i wear the diamond stud earings and single stone necklace that i had made with the stones from my mum and grandmas engagement rings on all family occasions, and on christmas day, makes me feel close to them both.
Hi Eth. After all I have said on here about what I like, the ring I bought had three saphires and some diamonds - a victorian ring. Quite chunky and not too blingy. The saphires are very, very dark.
The best surprise I had was that the 18c fob chain I had turned out to be 22c!!
