I received a similar call and was told that I had to switch on my computer and when the desktop icons appear he would be able to help me remove a virus!!! I was only on the telephone at the time and computer was not on. At this point I put the phone down. The report in the paper suggests that he asks you to open certain programme and then type in a number he gives you and at that point he has control of your cursor. Be aware everyone.
