History also shows that the minority party in a coalition tends to suffer most. So, although I'll be voting LibDem, I have to agree with the song bird above.

As far as I am concerned it will not be a reflection of the General Election. As a life long Tory to whom the very word socialism is anathema, I shall be vociferously supporting the Labour Party this time. This is to punish the lazy, fat-arsed Tory Mayor (one of the elected types) for failing to clear the roads and pavements during the big freeze last December/January, thus condemning me to virtually three weeks isolation housebound. Local issues demand local solutions. It gives me some comfort to think that her grandiose plans for fancy buildings at the expense of basic comforts for the electorate will come to nought should Labour win the 2 seats necessary to deprive her of any legitimate authority.
