Cordyline Austrailis
My 4 year old Cordyline seems to have died. I remember reading a few years ago that if I cut it down to a stump, it might grow again. Anyone have any experience of this?

It was a bad winter for Cordyline (and many other shrubs) as mother nature gave us a little reminder of who's Boss! Our much planted shrubs come from all over the world and are generally fine. Its amazing to see that in some of 'our' gardens, the same type of shrub has survived only yards from one that is dead as a door nail. I think a blast of extra cold air through a gap in buildings or trees did for a lot of them.
