Is anyone else finding it difficult

to get onto dotty's thread with the telephone number on it? Every time I try it it tells me I am ringing a number and do I want to go on with it. As I didn't want to get involved with anything peculiar I came out of the thread but I would have liked to have taken part in it if it is legitimate.

Are you viewing this on a SmartPhone or similar? Sounds like your machine is interpreting the hyperlink as a phone number and is trying to dial it for you...

Thanks treetops I have had a look at it. It is my natural nosiness I suppose.

dotty - I don't know what it is. A message comes up instead of your thread telling me I am ringing a number and do I still want to go on with it, As I don't in case it is a scam I just came straight back out. However treetops post has got me on to your thread and I have read it, but not taken part. Never mind, lots more to look at and take part in.

No Mark I am on an ordinary computer (Dell) but it certainly seems as if it is trying to do what you said. I am not very computer literate so it worries me a bit when something like this happens. I don't want to find I have somehow or other run up a huge bill somewhere.

Are you clicking on the number in dotty's heading? rather than opening an answer box? Clicking would take you to a link to the number ...(?)

Craft, sorry didn't see your post. Yes I do have skype installed. Is that what is causing it?
