bathroom insect

i keep seeing these little silvery insecty things on my bathrrom floor, they are little and slither across the floor really fast. i also found one in my bedroom under a newspaper. Anyone know what they are?

they are silverfish i have them to totaly harmless my kids love them

yep, silverfish... I think they live off paper pulp... and are unchanged since prehistoric times... a pretty amazing creature...

we used to have them when I was a kid. I think they like moist places. We used to get them in the kitchen which was gross.

They're definitely silverfish and please can I have some? I absolutely love them but I've never managed to encourage any into my bathroom :-(
