Its actually got more to do with bunnies than it has to do with this Jesus guy.

Easter was being celebrated long before Jesus ever existed. Its all about thanking the nature gods for the lives of Easter bunnies, chicks etc.

It was just hijacked by the Christians.

Most of the Christian celebrations were originally pagan, especially Christmas and Easter. Christians just adapted them to suit themselves.

bl***y bunnies have eaten all the flowers and leaves on my bludberries whilst i was away. instead iof being 3-4 ft long branches they are now 4-5 inch long stumps. no chance of fruit this year. don't know if they are still alive. where has my friend whith his gun got to????
