Jersey Tax
2 Answers
Reading an article on the Nigel Mansell assault, it was said that anyone wishing to live on Jersey must have a tax bill of at least 100k. Is this true? If so how is it enforced? Do Jersey have a huge amount of police and/or border guards. Don't they take any immigrants? Surely Brussels would be annoyed?

As the law applies only when property is purchased, it is clearly fairly easy to police. Incidentally, Brussels doesn't really come into the picture, as the Channel Islands are outside the European Union.
