I don't get any pension credits - I don't even really understand it but I just get my retirement pension. I will take whatever they give me because I paid in for it during my working life and so did my husband but I never thought of it as a benefit.
I didn't really mean it Sirandy (bow, scrape) and I know you have your tongue firmly fixed in your cheek. The trouble is if they did give extra it would be extra to all and people who have not paid would also receive it. Yes?

Alex, I also get an industrial pension and the b's stop income tax. I thought we were going to get a bit less this month because the numbers had altered but I still had £73 stopped. I expect others get much more than this, but it is still annoying as since you paid in for it and presumably had income tax stopped on it already, you are having to pay through the nose again. If I could think of a way of getting around it I would, but rack my brains as I might an answer does not come up.
