30. This is not an answer. These are my thoughts. The English 'could' relate to The English PATIENT, the Dutch 'could' mean VAN as in Van Dyke. A patient van = Ambulance. That's my best shot at it!
Any clue on no. of letters?

smurf, I really like the way you always say that any help is appreciated. It makes it easier for us to have a wild guess even if we are wrong.
Here are two more guesses. 30. may just end in van (although I don't know what at this stage).
16. My guess for this, is that is starts with MO + where she felt safe = Mobile Home. ?
following on from thewinner's suggestion - the bedford hunt is well known so how about - bedford van?
This is proper team work bellabee!
indeed it is thewinner - but i haven't the foggiest idea for mo! unless she felt safe on her buggy - mo on buggy
Hi,smurf, I've been puzzling over these two. Had a few ideas but in vain. Thought perhaps mo could have something to do with Mo Mowlam or Mo the tennis player but again drew a blank.Thought 30 might end in the Dutch word for the!
