for making a joke about the human cannonball who was killed. Someone said it was too soon to make a joke about it! So when exactly is it ok?

It also wasn't a news item - please post "jokes" in Jokes!

Sorry to be late to this thread, but I did post on your news thread as "Too Soon to joke, somebody died today".

If it had been in the jokes section I probably wouldn't have seen it, but as a news item I thought it unappropriate.

To be honest, its OK when its not real.

It was a news item - it only happened the day before, so surely that counts as news. It made the front pages of the papers (well the tabloids anyway). Don't worry I'll stay away from the news section in future and stick with the weirdos and sickos in chatterbank who make me feel at home.
Hello lanks, welcome to the weirdo section x
Thanks lankeela :-(
I think this place is great. Makes me laugh. Where would we be without humour?
I've always had a dry/dark/dry/black/sarcastic sense of humour, but I've never found any joke about a death funny. Hate those texts, too, but each to their own. Think it's a case of "knowing your audience" before passing one on, though.
Weirdos and sickos, thanks a lot Lankeela
