My interest never really extended further than the opening titles in which he was shown introducing a small group of rookie cops to the "most fascinating sphere of police work - the world of forensic medicine" prompting much vomiting and fainting amongst them before he'd even started. There was also the view of him carefully examining the 'fascinating spheres' of what appears to be a corpse before it pans out to reveal that they belong, instead, to a tanned, reclining young woman - fantastic...I mean disgraceful. There is another possible answer to your question in the shape of Quincy Jones, the musician/composer and general music impresario but he's not quite as interesting in comparison I'm afraid.
