I know there are lots of people on here who are happy to share all sorts of details about themselves and their lives, I'm one of them but there are also a lot of people on here who keep any personal details stricly private, and I kind of wondered why.
The way it is in my eyes, I don't walk around Tesco with a bag over my head (although they might be happier if I did) so I don't see why I would on here.
Do you prefer to be an enigma here or are you happy to share all?

Mike, I think you meant 1/1d not 1/1p I`m not pedantic. Am off on a coach trip to some castle in Cornwall but the old man isn`t coming with me because it`s one of his bad days and he`s cuddling a lamppost, crying over how he came to sire 13 horrible kids. Have a lovely day.
I can see you are very sensitive Bobbi, but you know what they say 'nil bastardem carborundem' roughly transated as don't let the barstewards grind you down. And for the purists among us I know it is only a made up phrase and nothing like real Latin. Also now I am in full flow - 'To the pure all things are pure'. Just keep going and you will be all right.
I never understand why some people think it's odd not wanting to put a picture up as their avatar. There are lots of ABers I'm sure I would recognise if I ran into them. Personally I don't want my 500 work colleagues or ~1000 now grown up ex-pupils of mine reognising me on here! After all it's primarily supposed to be a Q&A site, not a social networking medium.
