I met a bloke on a blind date once and we didn't like each other at all. I was very glad to admit that I (really) had a migraine, and had to go home.

I usually find the blunt " im going home, you're boring the t1ts off me" is quite effective, they never usually bothered asking for a second date after that.

Other than my budgie has a headache, I usually ask a friend to do an emergency phone call ....

If you always only go on a Speed Dating event then you will not need any excuses, as you are only together for about 4 or 5 minutes with each other. Anyone can pretend to be interested for that length of time. See the link below for a good Speed Dating company:

lol, purp, I don't think it was cr*p :) It's hard to tell on here. Sometimes, what seems like a cr*p thread gets loads of replies and vice versa.
