Laptop to TV picture problem

I am connecting my laptop to TV via a HDMI cable, but the picture on the TV is a bit small. I can't find any settings on the TV to change it so does anyone know if i can do it on the laptop?

Look in the Graphics Card properties for screen size output setting for the second display (if that's how you are using it)
Try that. Only thing on most display panels should be a screen format setting, although some may not have anything.

As Al says, it's in the graphics driver properties, if you've got an ATI based graphics card it's called overscaling but it's a bugger to find!
