The Scots have a fabulous dance and National costume, the Welsh have a lovely costume

Then there's the beer and the pub crawling - at the height of the season, Leicester Morris can dance at three pubs and get at least a couple of beers in at each, in the space of around three and half hours.
Oh, and then there are the bits where they get to include the prettiest women in the crowd and hoist them aloft, getting a good handful of bum as they do so. And of course, it keeps them pretty fit too.
So - stick fighting, pubs, women, workouts? I wonder more fellas aren't up for it.
