i'm doing my first ever night shift (7pm - 7.30am). Not sure what to expect. Ive been told to maybe bring some energy drinks for my first night. Strange question but do shift workers normally have a meal....cant imagine being hungry in the middle of the night! thanks

thanks paddy, enjoy hearing about your experience .
No problem anne, I think as you get older people like to remember these sort of thing, I mean look how well bobbi's do you remember thread went down last week. In the local area there's a group who organise a yearly exhibition about the history of the locality, when it first started it was quite poorly supported but now after 7 years they have a huge collection, photos, interviews etc all on disc and archived for the future
yes bobbi ^s thread did well. lots of interest,
When I am on night shift I find I can't eat after about 11.
Bagels is a must for the nightshift, although that depends if you`re out on the road

I don`t think I could handle a nightshift stuck inside working all night
