Chinese Pork Chops and what??
9 Answers
I'm having chinese pork chops for my dinner tonight, any suggestions what I could have as an accompaniement? I was thinking about noodles which would be bland, what can I put in the noodles to make them saucy (easy!!) or what else can I have? ta :o) x

Didn't think you'd go back on to that question which is why I never posted an answer, thanks Luv ! As for the noodles, I normally make them with a drop of dry sherry, 1/2 a teaspoon of sugar and kecap manus (thick soy sauce), they were amazing and it even pleased my man which is unusual!! :o)
Mikewith, dinner was a treat! Thoroughly enjoyed. I made the noodles the way I described to WendyW.
WendyW, glad you like the sound of them. There's a chinese where we stay and their noodles are the best I've ever tasted, they came with a sort of gravy, not enough to have in running on the plate, just enough to coat them. I went on the internet and did a bit of digging and discovered kecap manus, they're still nowhere near as good as the chinese but are still yummy! :o) xx
