Takeaway

I phoned a takeaway at about 6 o'clock. It hasn't shown up and I've been trying to phone to check up on it for the past 15 mins and the number is constantly engaged. I'm piggin starving! Do I just give up and start making something only for the food to arrive, or do I wait in the hope it turns up before I digest myself? :)

There`s been no Italian takeaways anywhere I`ve lived

It was an Indian Elvis. Scotman - it's a thing I never get is an Italian takeaway (apart from the occasional pizza from the chippy). I think there are a couple of restaurants that do takeaway, but if I'm having Italian I'll actually go there and have a sit in meal. Funny that :)

Shame it wasn`t a Chinese takeaway Karen...and when he asked for the amount to pay, ie £30, you could`ve asked him the name of Katie Price`s eldest son..

Same here Karen, they are not that common in Edinburgh. Mostly it is the usual suspects pizza delivery chains.

We don't even have the chains (although a Dominoes recently opened in the next town), it's just the good old chippy for us :)
