Worst ever CD?

To create my pair of questions, what is the worst CD you have bought? You like one track,but hate the rest, then the track you did like starts to grate on your nerves. Mine is the Eminem show!

Radiohead, Kid A.

Sounds like a group of sixth formers playing random instruments in the music room in no specific order, whilst high on magic mushrooms.

Shame, given that their previous three albums were excellent! 

My copy is on Ebay for �0.01, no bids.

erm, The Lighthouse Family?? I didn't know what I was doing and I was very young. Oh, and I'm sure I've got a copy of Des'ree "You've gotta be" somewhere as well. and maybe (cough cough) Celine Dion's "Think Twice". HMV should really be prosecuted for letting me buy any of that when I was a kid.

I liked Kid A though, there were a couple of duff tracks but overall it's still an album that I go back to

Double Wide by Uncle Kracker.  I LOVED Follow Me - still one of my favourite songs - but the rest was terrible!  I took it back and swapped it for the single and a different CD album.

K by Kula Shaker. Don't think I bought it for a particular track - I was just under the misguided impression for about five minutes that I actually liked them. Awful, pretentious, sub-Beatles, pseudo-hippy claptrap.

Can I nominate an album I bought years ago on cassette too? Yoyo by Bourgeois Tagg. Bought it for the track I Don't Mind At All, their hit single which I still love. The rest of the album was some of the blandest 80s American rock I've ever heard. Still, only cost me �1 from a charity shop, so mustn't grumble :-)

Kid A bad!!!!! everybody has different taste i suppose..

And anyone who buys a celine dion record deserves what they get.

It has to be LEN - You Can't Stop The Bumrush. Awful, awful, awful...

That LEN one was pants, even though "Steal My Sunshine" was excellent.  Mine was the Darkside's "Melomania" from 1990 or so.  Thay had a single called "Waiting for the Angels" that was as good as anything Sprirtualized ever did.  The entire album was trousers beyond endurance.  A rip-off at two quid thirteen years ago, a rip-off at two pence now.

I bought New Radicals Maybe You've been brainwashed Too on the strength of You Get What You Give which i think is still an ace track... but I think i was brainwashed into buying such an awful CD. No wonder Gregg Alexander went bonkers after releasing that!
