I was in Chicago O'Hare, briefly, some years ago. My luggage went to Minneapolis, though. English accent mix-up, I think.
I visited a friend in Chicago a few years ago, I absolutely loved it.
I'm about four hours from Chicago. I lived there for a few months many moons ago. I'm not really a city person.
Me neither tbh, it was nice for a holiday though :)
I love the Museum of Science and Industry. I go every time I visit. You can get train tickets from down the road for about 15 dollars all the way to Union Station if you don't mind going at odd hours.
Down the road from me? ;) That would be excellent!
That would be really cool but I don't think Amtrak has that on the schedule.
Chicago ain't what it used to be since Mayor Daley retired.
Most of us south of the outer loop would dump it in Lake Michigan in a heartbeat or at least make it a city state. It just vacuums up tax dollars and monopolized the state capital. Illinois politics are pretty corrupt. We're famous for it really.
