My mum and nan used to have some good 'uns:

'Two jumps each at' pantry door - see if you can reach the lock!'
and
'Air pie, wi' no crust - and two slides each round' plate!'

My mum always used to say "Ham, duck and monkey pudding". Don't know where that came from?

I remember snot and bogey pie all mixed up with a dead dogs eye, lost he next bit but it ended with "wash it all down with a cold cup of sick"
