Hi, I'm working on my family history and trying to work out if a photo I've found is of my great grandfather. In the photo, he is wearing British army battledress uniform, including a 'blouson' style waist-length jacket. He died in 1930, can anyone tell me when his style of jacket was introduced? I've tried many different Google searches, but cannot find the answer.

Try contacing, or visiting the Imperial War Museum in Manchester. They may be able to help.
Maybe during the 1914-18 war.........saw a photo of my grandfather in 1916, he was wearing what sounds like the same sort of uniform!...........
