Car Accident - swollen belly
4 Answers
I'm back at hospital tomorrow but in a panic so wanted some advise before then!
Last Mon I was ran over outside my house. Although I was trapped underneath the car, I escaped with no broken bones. I needed staples in my head and other than that was just swollen and badly bruised.
My left leg as still a mess and is twice the size it should be, as I am having difficulty bending my knee I have been referred back to the hospital by my doctor.
My concern is my swollen belly. I mentioned this but my doc didn't seem concerned. It is pretty swollen and painful when sitting/lying in certain positions. When in hospital last week they carried out an xray and took blood tests to rule out internal damage yet I'm getting myself in right state thinking i'm gonna die in my sleep or something!!!
I will be bringing this up in hospital tomorrow but i'm just wondering if you think this could just be bruising? Please set my mind at rest.
Thanks
