Maybe its my memory playing tricks, but I'm sure I remember at the time of the Hillsborough disaster, that somebody (can't remember if it was a player or somebody from the backroom staff of the clubs involved) had also been at Valley Parade on that fateful day. Does anyone else remember?

Indeed. I remember that day very clearly, I was horrified. There is nothing worse than fire....

Ric.ror - my abiding memory of that day was a fan running from the stand with his hair alight - totally shocking. As arksided has said a minute for them and their loved ones

The image that stays with me is of the Police officer whose hair burst into flames because of the searing heat..............

I worked in Our Price records at the time and remember the debacle around the Charity Record........shocking !
