Eye problem I think

When I go to bed I usually read for around 20 mins, then try to get to sleep. However, after closing my eyes for about 5 minutes and opening them again I seem to have a blob over my left eye, not completely obscuring my vision. If I cover my right eye up it seems OK, ? perhaps a little more blurred than normal. I wear hard gas permeable lenses. Anyone any idea what this could be?

Almost certainly no big deal........it is probably a "floater" Google it"

I thought it might be a floater too, but it's a mighty big one if it is.
