I need to speak to my neighbour tomorrow about her little feckface of a son. Part of what I need to speak to her about is his choice language and use of it to my son. Therefore, not probably the best idea to swear. Anyone got any good descriptive language that stops short of swearing?

It's taken me all week to catch up with her - the Cub guy was round at her house for the best part of an hour on Wednesday but don't know what was said yet - if she's spun some sob story then I'll put him straight on Monday.
Anyhoo, given the time lapse and the intervening visit from the Cub leader, I went for a different tactic - I saw her coming home with Feckface and his older sister about 8 ish- she looked as if she'd just taken them swimming so I went over and said "been somewhere nice?" she looked a bit surprised at me talking to her so she responded just saying "oh yeah, the pool" I said "that'll be a nice treat for the little F'ing Bar steward then?" she started off looking shocked and started to say "don't use that language about......" then it looked like it dawned on her so I just said "yeah it's not nice is it, but as long as the F'ing c**t has had a nice time then I'll get back to my bastards" and walked off. Her face went puce and she went inside - quite safe to say that I am no longer on the Christmas list. I was shaking afterwards, but now I feel good. :o).
Maybe shouldn't have stooped, but it's not like I used any words that he didn't use against my son......and husband.
and I know precisely nothing will happen on her part - she thinks she can treat them into behaving by buying them stuff and taking them places.
"Oh, you've damaged my car, well here have a new bike and behave yourself" whereas my kids have had a weeks ban from screen (tv/playstation/wii etc) for crossing a road they weren't allowed to, or too much answer back.

Hmm - it wasn't what I was intending to do, but I couldn't help it in the end. It's not like he is a first offender, he has shouted abuse at me and others from the house window before and I have heard both kids using foul language on many occaisions but never directed specifically at my kids before. He has had warnings for throwing dog poo over into their neighbours garden and has had the community police round several times - she'll probably call the cops on me now but I could care less. I've got it out my system for a while.

At the end of the day, what can i do? I can't exactly say don't do it again or else.... or else what? There isn't really much avenue to go any further, i wouldn't call the community policeman I don't think. We actually live in a very nice area, i just wish they'd move!!!
And welsh you are right, sadly we will all be paying for his care in borstal at some point I am sure - he needs a firm hand (preferably placed very quickly onto his backside repeatedly!!) I'd have washed his mouth out with soap and grounded him for a week, not taken him for a treat!

Ooh Update for you:
Next doors kids just went past and mouthed abuse at the window, so I went across and got the grandmother - apparently it is all my sons fault - he started it off by saying that feckface was a B because he didn't have a dad!!!! My son doesn't even know that's what that means!!! And also my older son who is waiting on an assessment for borderline high functioning aspergers and wont say boo to a goose and has been bullied for years has been keeping his brother "in-line" until he moved up to Scouts!!!!!! She couldn't even get half the facts straight according to her, my son and all his friends from his school have been ganging up on feckface because he goes to a different school. My son is the only one from his school that goes to that Cubs, the rest of the boys with the exception of a couple that go to a private school, go to the same school as the boy......but they all hate him too!!.
It is obviously my son's instigation, because once last year she heard me give my son a bollocking for calling his brother a B1tch - he doesn't even get his insults right! and, notice the fact that he was getting a bollocking!!!!
Anyhoo, upshot is that my son (who has a perfect behaviour record at school and at other clubs) is a bad influence and a bully so she wants him to stay away from her grandson........well suits me - foul mouthed little g!t.
