Having been redundant for the past 5 weeks, depression is setting in so to help cheer me up boyfy suggested a weeks hol for our anniversary.  We've just come back from Spain and done Portugal and Italy together and wanted somewhere new.  I've heard Greece is a Summer resort and not really warm enough - we wanna sit in the sun and relax, maybe do a few trips in the day. I cant for the life of me think of anywhere that fits a small budget and has sun in Feb... any ideas welcome.

In my personal opinion this cashcardworldwide is a SCAM, some sort of pyramid selling. Keep clear of it.

If you do not believe me search on cashcardworldwide and scam in google, loads of hits.

You will have to help me on this one, vehelpfulguy. I have done what you suggested and spent ages reading through the forums postings. Many have numerous articles where one is about CCW and another about something else that mentions a scam. Others are for forums just discussing CCW and I found far more favourable comments than bad and the bad ones were from people who "felt" it may be a scam. Well it is 7 years old now and I and many friends have been in it many months. I have saved thousands of pounds and made several hundreds in commission. If it fell apart today I will only have gained. But point me to any scam about it and I will leave it immediately and pay my friends the money back they have passed to the company.

I think it it also important to explain that pyramid selling involves volume discounts that left thousands of people with stocks that they could not shift.

Multilevel marketing is legal in the UK as long as it does not pay commission for introducing people - only for the sale of goods or services and helping people to do the same. CCW does not fall into those categories. It pays commission similarly to many household names like Kleeneze but it has the benefit of allowing participants enjoy industry discounts and make commissions on their sales to friends of holiday packages.

The products of most of the famous names are included including some low cost airlines, well known cruiselines, tour operators, car hire firms and hotel chains.

You can also use your status to work with firms with which the IATA registered company K&E International Travel does not have agreements.

I did a lot of research before joining and I made no assumptions. To date I have been very pleased and so have my friends that have made use of it.

I would be surprised if you made a lot of money but I do not see why it should not be possible.

www.lastminute.com have loads of reasonable deals for all over the place; Greece, turkey (may be a bit chilly in feb though!) Egypt, Goa� if you check out your chosen destination on www.lonelyplanet.com/destinations they usually have a bit that say�s �when to go� this should tell you if it�s going to be nice & hot in feb!

Personally I�d recommend Thailand! Have a great time wherever you go!

I agree Egypt is good. Great sun and temperature in Feb. There are loads of resorts on the red sea (Taba, El Gouna, Sharm, Hurghada as examples). Each are slightly different some quiet, some busier, some more exclusive. All are excellent value and have hotels of a good standard. There is also loads of good diving if you fancy that. Book late as there are always good deals to be had. You can get your tourist visa as you arrive at the airport so don't bother getting in advance.

Toothfairy, yes we went to Egypt in Feb this year, the weather was lovely, we went on an organised tour which was really good, and we found eating out, drinks etc really cheap. We went to Cairo, Luxor and Aswan, but you coild pick up a cheap trip to one of the Red Sea resorts and take days out from there (plan to do that one year also) if you're looking for a relaxing holiday.
